Mediterranean Boat Cruise Holidays | ArticleGoes - Free Dofollow ...

It?s the kind of day here in Marmaris to think about the holidays? or rather a holiday.

There are so many holidays during the year but the one holiday that means the most to many of us are the ones that you take, to get away from the normal everyday living of life. The holidays that seem to have the most meaning and satisfying rewards. The holidays that make up for the stress that we all feel from time to time during the year.

Although celebration holidays are great, gathering with friends and family? there is one type of holiday that stands out above the rest and the one you choose the time for. The one that doesn?t necessarily fall on the same date every single year and the one that counts the most.

Staying in hotel is fine. There?s a pool, bar, restaurant, and you can go on tours and explore the region. However there is only one kind of holiday where you do not need to think about which type of tour to go on, which hotel to stay in, what restaurant to eat in and wonder where you kids are now! :) It?s an all inclusive, altogether magnificent style of holiday that is created by yourselves and for yourselves to do whatever and whenever you want. There aren?t any crowds, or noise and traffic to deal with. Where in some resorts all of this is present.

Here we call them Gulet Cruise holidays; otherwise known as yacht charter holidays or world the famous Blue Voyages ? and that is exactly what they are ?blue? ?voyages?. According to local sources, the Blue Voyage originated in Bodrum ? the prime gulet manufacturing capital on the Aegean coast. Going back many years, these vessels called gulets (with its many variations of spelling), were Turkish cargo ships. Then later as decades went by, gulets became touring yachts that carried tourists from one destination to another. Today, gulet cruises have become a highly preferred style of Mediterranean sailing holidays in both Turkey and Greece. Gulet yacht cruises are not as well known in regions around the world outside Europe and the Middle East because these types of sailing charters are still quite in their infancy stages.

The blue voyage gulet cruises, whether from Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, Gocek, or Antalya, are offered in different classes. One can choose from the ultimate Vogue Sail Gulet Cruises where the gulet is quite large with few cabins. The Vogue sail gulet charters are considered a private luxury yacht charter. The top level services, quality facilities and amenities are fully loaded and all inclusive.

Luxury gulet cruise holiday types offer pretty much the same luxuries as the Vogue sail but the vessels are a bit smaller.

The luxury gulet charters are considered luxury as an ?economical? value for sailboat cruises. Yes these vessels can be considered sailboats. But in actuality they are called motor sailers, and that is because the gulets offer both sails and engines. When the winds aren?t sufficient, the motor kicks in. But when the warm winds are in effect? then out come those massive sails! The gulets are reminiscent of schooners ? a different style of motor sailer. Actually if you want to get more specific, there are gulets, ketches, and schooners (I have probably missed some other types too). But generally all of them are usually referred to as gulets in the yacht sailing charter business. :) You may notice when you look at the gulet listings, some of them have M/S infront of the vessels name. M/S ?meaning motor sailer. :)

The above three classes are for private luxury gulet or yacht charter cruises. This means that a group charters the whole vessel to themselves. Alternatively there are cabin charters. This is where a gulet is still chartered but per cabin and the charter route is preset. Either way, having the privledge to be on a gulet is ultimately thrilling. You can read all you wish about gulets, gulet holidays and the blue voyage, but to really understand it, to feel it; you truly need to live it. :)

Sailing boat charters in the Mediterranean have been popular for quite some time. Holidaymakers and yachtsmen have made many ports of call in Turkey and Greece their destinations. There are sailboat cruises in all major parts of the world. However whether private or not, luxury motor sailer charters are exclusive to Turkey, Greece and then some in Croatia.

It?s the type of luxury Mediterrean sailing holiday that says first class luxury all the way!
