About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and growing Department of Computing and Technology, which offers a range of courses related to Electronics, Audio Technology, Computer Science and Business Information Systems. We are looking for an active researcher, who can contribute to the Department?s mission to deliver world class teaching and research. We are seeking candidates with a PhD or near completion, with teaching, research and/or relevant industrial experience in the general field of Electronics. Specific areas of expertise we are seeking include: Analogue Electronics, Control Systems, Data Communications, Audio Electronics and Electronic Circuits. Research interests in Power/Energy Systems or Audio Electronics would constitute an advantage. You will be responsible for delivering an up-to-date curriculum and it is expected that you will contribute to the expansion of our portfolio. You will be research active and it is anticipated that you will develop collaboration and consultancy work with industry, in order to generate external funding. You will also be required to supervise research students.
