Sony?s PSP promised a lot as the first handheld capable of online multiplayer gaming. Unfortunately, that network gaming dream never really realised its full potential.
Now, thanks to some homebrewers and a warranty-voiding workaround, there?s a network system that allows users to play any PSP game capable of the much wider implemented Ad-Hoc system to play online against others.
It?s called Prometheus and it works by wrapping the PSP?s Ad Hoc system inside an online shell thanks to some tweaks to your home network and you?ll need to be comfortable with homebrew on your handheld and the warranty implications that brings.
