The latest Homes.org real estate market report has good news for homeowners in San Diego, CA. Based on recent sales figures and the expert opinions from various industry professionals, all signs are pointing towards positive trends in the San Diego real estate market.
After seeing the February home sales report, San Diego Association of Realtors President, Donna Sanfilippo, stated, ?The housing market is showing positive signs of recovery. . . median home prices are fairly stable and reflect a slight increase for detached single-family listings sold year-over-year.?
A number of metro areas, including San Diego, have seen significant improvement that began in Q4 of 2011 and appear to be holding strong in Q1 of this year. The San Diego real estate market?s continued stabilization is due in part to the positive jobs outlook. Commercial real estate agents in San Diego recently met at a conference that outlined the industries that are set to grow in the coming months and years: the military, craft-beer breweries, clean/green technology and wireless technology. Tourism is also a factor and a catalyst for the growing number of craft breweries in the area.
Unlike many other cities in California, San Diego appears to have weathered the recession storm and is expected to keep building on its current momentum.
